I did move the merged esp file directly after the US Dawn of Skyrim patch just to be safe even though LOTD is supposed to be self-patching on that one. I resolved most conflicts either by adjusting LO or copying records from Ultimate Skyrim.esp. There were quite a few things either conflicting directly with Ultimate Skyrim that were fairly easily fixed but I went through the merged plugin with a very fine-toothed comb so to speak.

Once done I deactivated the plugins that were now merged, activated the merged patch and cracked open TES5Edit to look at what conflicts were there with Ultimate Skyrim.esp. I placed all patches to be merged with the Requiem+MIL merged patch from the FOMOD directly before the Ultimate Skyrim.esp.Īfter doing that I built the merge using Merge Plugins Standalone - it reported no errors so I then actually built it. I placed Legacy of the Dragonborn.esp fairly low in the order in betweeen Immersive Merchandising and Spell Research. Ok, so I just did a merged patch of all the patches selected from the FOMODs that i will be using. Time for running the various ReProccers again, etc. The resulting merged LotD patch should be placed just before the Ultimate Skyrim patches in the load order. So the user should take those 16 patches and merge them into 1 patch. Good news is that merging isn't a problem for LotD. Too many, in fact, to include in an Ultimate Skyrim load order without merging.

The two main concerns apparently are being overpowered due to Skyrim artifacts found during normal gameplay - utterly throwing off the carefully-constructed balance of Requiem - and an odd quest issue caused by an incompatibility with Realistic Room Rental - Enhanced. I enjoyed reading last week's thread, which came to the conclusion that not only was using LotD possible with Ultimate Skyrim, but that there were only minor issues to consider. I have not installed Legacy of the Dragonborn yet.
